Our desire was to consider, appreciate, and learn from the humbleness, meekness, and lowliness of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though rich in glory as the divine Son of God, He willingly humbled Himself. He entered this world as a baby, lived as a servant, and suffered death on a cross. Further, He told His followers, “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you shall find rest unto your souls” (Matthew 11:29).
